I have almost completed my master’s degree and have a job lined up. In September 2012 I will start with Grant Thornton in Houston and will have a little money to buy things that I want. I want a Camaro.
When I turned 16 my dad let me drive his 2001 white dodge truck. I absolutely loved it! However, when I started college and gas prices soared my grandparents so graciously gave me their 2003 car that they never drove and did not want anymore. It gets great gas mileage compared my dad’s truck. I figured I would drive the car until I finished college and would buy a black with gold trim F-250 King Ranch Ford Truck. However, after driving in downtown Houston and parking in small spaces in parking garages, I decided that a truck was not going to be convenient. I have never been a sports car type of girl, but I fell in love with the Camaro the first time I laid eyes upon it. It has a gorgeous exterior that is very stylish, and great accessories inside.
My boyfriend has always loved sports car. One weekend he told me that he had a surprise. Come to find out he traded his truck for a 2011 Camaro. I was so jealous! However, this was my chance to test drive and determine if I really wanted one. The biggest object that I carry around in my car is my golf clubs. So for me to buy a car it has to be able to fit my golf clubs and maybe a suitcase if I’m traveling. Fortunately, both fit. It drives so smooth and has great handling. After driving and examining the car I have realized that the Camaro is the car for me.

I personally love the Camaros too! They really are so sporty, but still have the sleek lines and body style of a nice luxury car. Whenever you finally get this Camaro, I'm going to need a ride in it!
The new body styles on the camaros are really cool! What size engine are you looking at getting in it?
I love the retro look of the camaro. I can relate to parking a truck in Houston.
I just want a base model V6. I don't have a reason for a V8.
I love the new Camaro. I think it's a gear choice but would you want the same car as your boyfriend?
Congratulations on your job offer with Grant Thornton! I know it's exciting to get a job offer over a year before your graduate! It's good to hear that you have plans to save for something that you have always wanted. I wish you the best of luck!
